Tessa has deep experience as a global people development leader, consultant, and executive and career coach in the energy, technology consulting, software solutions, legal and not-for-profit sectors.

As an expert and innovator in leadership development, talent management and learning to support organisation change, business growth and digital transformation, her focus is on building diverse, engaged, and effective leaders and teams. During her 15-year career at British Petroleum plc, Tessa defined and mobilised the global talent and learning architecture, then led a team to develop and strengthen the strategic technical and leadership capabilities across BP’s functions.

Tessa has a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management and is a Fellow of the CIPD. She holds the triple-accredited Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching (ICF, AC, EMCC) from Henley Business School, is a member of the ICF, and is certified in the use of Hogan psychometric tools to support coaching sessions.

Tessa sits on a number of charity board committees, and her pro bono work includes coaching CEOs and senior leaders of several charities, currently including the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
