Tessa has deep experience as a global people development leader and consultant in the energy, technology consulting, and software solutions sectors.

Tessa is an expert and innovator in leadership development, talent management and learning to support organisation change, business growth and digital transformation, with a focus on building diverse, engaged, and effective leaders and teams. Tessa defined and mobilised BP plc’s global talent and learning architecture, then led a team to develop and strengthen the strategic technical and leadership capabilities across BP’s functions.

Tessa holds a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management, and is a Fellow of the CIPD. She sits on the Board of Trustees of JAMI, a mental health charity, in addition to other charity board committees, and she regularly undertakes pro bono work.
